Balljoint Kit

By Chuck On March 16, 2010 Under International Truck Parts

Balljoint Kit
I brought my car in for an oil change and..?

it had a 10 day inspection sticker on it because I just bought it ..While I was out they did an inspection. I never asked for this inspection . Now they have a list new ball joint windsheild wipers and rocker arm kit
my car now sounds like the tires are rubbing and the car squeaks and feels wobbley.
What would you think and do?
my windsheild wipers are new ..brakes and tires are new..wouldnt the mechanic that did these repairs have noticed a freaking balljoint needing to be replaced? I would think SO.

Sounds like you got taken to the cleaners. First go to the BBB and file a complaint. Keep all your records and any records you can get from the previous owner if you bought it used.
Then contact your States attorney general. Most states now require service shops to be licensed with the State.
What ever you do, do not back off. The whole thing sounds bad from the get go.

Product Details: The standard sway bar links are very compliant. The rubber bushes easily distort, while the actual plastic link flexes under load. This may be quite acceptable for everyday use, however it does severely limit the effectiveness of the sway-bars.  Even worse, if you use high performance options like Blade Adjustables.  The original Rear Links distort enough to re...
