Are you a noob on Maplestory? Well, don't worry. Everyone was once. Here is a guide that covers the basics on Maplestory.

Downloading the Game
To play Maplestory, you must have a Windows XP or Vista (although XP works better) and about 1G space.

Go to the Maplestory website. Click on North America (Global). On the left-hand side, there is a box that says "Free! Maplestory DOWNLOAD". Click on that. On the screen, there is a "Beginner Version". To me, that version is really pointless. So scroll down and click the "download" button that is under "Full Version". Click on save and name the file. The download usually takes a while, depending on the type of computer you have, but if you are impatient, download the RAR version. Click on each "part" and name each and save them. Each one takes about 2-3 minutes.

Make a Username and a Password:

Since the downloading takes a long time, this would be a good time to make your own character. Go to the Maplestory website and click Maplesotyr North America. Click on sign up and make your character. Remember your username and password.

Installation
After the downloading is complete, go to My Computer. Look for your saved file again. Double click on Maplestory Installation. I'm pretty sure you know what to do after this. It takes a while to explain it, so if you don't, go to another guide.

Log In
After the installation, there should be a shortcut on your desktop that goes to Maplestory. Double click on this. A window should pop up. At the bottom of this window, click "play". Wait for it to load. At the log in screen, type in your username and password and click on "log in". Make your own pin number, one that you can remember and isn't too obvious. After that, click on one of the worlds at the top of the screen. Scania is the one with the most people, so if you have a slow computer, I wouldn't suggest that one. Bera is a fairly good one, and so is Windia. After you choose, click on a channel. The meters show how full the channel is, so pick a channel that has a low meter.

Make Your Character

Now you get to make your character. Click on the "Create Character" sign. Pick male or female. Choose the outfit, hair, etc. When you have to choose the weapon, the axe is the best because it does the most dammage. Make a name for your character. On the right hand side is a dice. The dice determines what you want to be.

The choices are thief, magician, bowman, and warrior. THIS PART IS VERY IMPORTANT!!! If you want to be a thief, roll the dice until you have a 4 or a five under int and a four or a five under strength. The rest is unimportant. If you want to be a magician, roll the dice until you have a four or a five under strength and a four or a five under dex. If you want to be a bowman, roll the dice until you have a four or a five under int and a four or a five under luk. If you want to be a warrior, roll the dice until you have a four or a five under luk and a four or a five under dex. Be patient. This determines how strong you will be. Again, THIS VERY IMPORTANT!!! Once you get what you want, click Create. Now you will be back at the character screen. Click on the sign post that says select character.

Congratulations! You can officially start playing.

THE 2011 BMW 5-Series is the first fully redesigned version of this highly desirable sedan since 2004 revealed at ongoing New York International Auto Show 2010. The sixth-generation 5-Series is slightly larger than the 2004-2010 editions. 2011 BMW 5-Series is more powerful yet more fuel-efficient. Perhaps most important to fine-car lovers everywhere, it's less alienating in appearance.

The 5 Series will be available with several different engines, and will start appearing in dealerships in the middle of the year. The 2011 550i will be even more powerful, with a 4.4-liter, 402 horsepower, direct-injected, twin-turbo V8 engine. The 550i comes with a standard eight-speed automatic transmission, and will get about 5 percent better gas mileages. A six-speed manual transmission is available.

The front-end of the 2011 BMW 5-Series will likely feature a more upright kidney grille in order to comply with stronger pedestrian protection laws, while the headlights won't be stretched out like on the current model. The rear roofline and C-pillar connects more fluidly to the trunk lid, which is now devoid of the Bangle-butt that was so universally derided with the E60 model.

The new 5-series is being built off an entirely new chassis, with double wishbones in the front, like on the new X5. The move is designed to give better control and road grip around corners. BMW will also be updating its iDrive system for the new 5-series, making life a little easier with the addition of yet another pair of programmable buttons. The 2011 BMW 5-Series is expected to go on sale this June and the price of this new car will be about $51000.
